The best free product for storing, sharing and viewing files

best product to view and share files

Do your ever struggle to find a quick and easy solution to share your files with a co-worker, client or friend? All technology comes with challenges especially when you are trying to meet that deadline. I use a mac to create my artwork and many of my clients use a pc. That in of it self can be a challenge.

Some of the common problems clients encounter when sharing files are:

  • large photo files clogging up email
  • can’t view image in the picture viewer as system software is out of date
  • not able to access the files from multiple places i.e. desktop computer, tablets and mobile phones.
  • wanting to send a file only once to one place rather than to multiple places and multiple times
  • wasting time trying to find the last updated file from multiple versions

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a free application where you could store, view and share files easily and efficiently? Well, there is.

Dropbox

Dropbox is a free service that allows you to take your photos, docs and videos anywhere and share them easily. Drew Houston and Arash Feroswsi were two students when they founded Dropbox. They were tired of emailing files to themselves and one another from more than one computer. Now over 300 million people across the globe use Dropbox to share files with family, friends and those working on team projects.
